Preservation is a project by Frank Rodriguez and photographer Blake Little. Blake has covered his models with honey to create a fascinating photo shoot. The colour of the honey is meant to represent amber and gives the impression that the models are in fact preserved. He has taken models of various shapes and sizes, ranging from small children to seniors to create a wonderful effect. In this video photographer and his subjects talk about the photo shoot and the idea behind this project
At http://preservationbook.com/ you can see and read more about Preservation, and if you happen to be in the vicinity of Los Angeles until April 4th, then you may also see the exhibition.
The book was released on 7th March and is available for 60 $ via the above-named website.
